Team Embrace supports The Arc of Howard County, whose mission is "Achieving full community life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities--one person at a time."

Full community life means allowing individuals to express their choices and have confidence that others will honor those choices; ensuring that those we support are able to choose how and with whom they spend their time, and are able to work at a challenging and rewarding job.

The Arc provides programs and services including: Employment, Family and Individual Support, Respite Care, Residential, Day Program, Supported Retirement.

Mission: Raising funds and AWARENESS. Inspiring RESPECT. Racing for CHANGE.

Activity: Team members of all ages and experience levels train and participate in various endurance events including triathlons, 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and marathons.
