Team Embrace supports The Arc of Howard County, whose mission is "Achieving full community life for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities--one person at a time."
Full community life means allowing individuals to express their choices and have confidence that others will honor those choices; ensuring that those we support are able to choose how and with whom they spend their time, and are able to work at a challenging and rewarding job.
The Arc provides programs and services including: Employment, Family and Individual Support, Respite Care, Residential, Day Program, Supported Retirement.
Mission: Raising funds and AWARENESS. Inspiring RESPECT. Racing for CHANGE.
Activity: Team members of all ages and experience levels train and participate in various endurance events including triathlons, 5Ks, 10Ks, half marathons, and marathons.

Join Team Embrace for THINK: An Evening of Mind Reading and Magic!
THINK is an evening of mind reading and magic to benefit The Arc of Howard County. In this 90 min show, magician Josh Norris will use a combination of magic, psychology, hypnosis and suggestion to demonstrate the untapped powers of the mind.
Norris will utilize his uncanny understanding of body language to decode the thoughts of audience members. He'll assume the role of a human lie detector as he challenges volunteers to conceal their true intentions. He'll subject himself to extreme physical harm in a feat of mind over body. In a final test of the power of suggestion, Norris will give one audience member the chance to win $1000.
